Aspiring home-owners could make hefty savings on the price of their dream property in Derbyshire if they act quickly at Taylor Wimpey’s Briars Chase development of apartments and houses for sale in Ilkeston.

Stamp duty is currently suspended for first-time buyers purchasing property for sale in Derbyshire below £250,000, but from 24th March 2012 the one per cent tax is being reintroduced on all homes costing between £125,000 and £250,000.

Savvy buyers are being urged to act without delay to ensure they complete their purchase before the deadline – and save up to £1,699 on the cost of two, three and four-bedroom new build homes in Ilkeston at the development.

Carolyne Watkinson, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our stunning new homes at Briars Chase are already popular with first-time buyers looking for high-quality, great-value new houses and apartments for sale in Ilkeston, and the stamp duty savings provide yet another reason to choose one of our sought-after properties.
