25th January 2012 Print

Fans of George Clooney heading to see his latest film the Descendants are in for a treat.  In addition to swooning over Mr Clooney, film enthusiasts will have the opportunity to check out the breathtaking scenery of the Hawaiian islands where filming took place.

The film, sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic, earned George Clooney a Golden Globe Award and is released in the UK on 27 January.

It follows the journey of Matt King (George Clooney) who embarks – along with his two daughters - on a haphazard search for his wife’s lover after she is killed in a boating accident, while wrestling with a decision to sell his family’s land handed down by Hawaiian royalty.

Filming took place on Oahu and Kauai and, for movie fans inspired by the breathtaking scenery, US operator, Bon Voyage, is highlighting two-centre holidays taking in both islands.

Prices for a 10-night holiday – combining five nights on each island – lead in at £1655 per person (twin share) inclusive of return Heathrow or Manchester flights, internal transfers and room-only accommodation in four-star hotels.
