Residents of Nottinghamshire could find themselves with an extra £1,000 to spend this January, simply by recommending housebuilder Miller Homes to a friend.

The award-winning developer is running the Recommend a Friend scheme across the East Midlands, including at its popular development The Vales in Bingham.

With more than 98 per cent of buyers saying they would recommend Miller Homes to a friend or family member, there could be plenty of cash available across the region.

Commenting on the scheme, Paul Walters, regional sales manager for Miller Homes East Midlands said: “Lots of people are left counting the pennies after Christmas, so what better way to kick start 2012 than with an extra £1,000?

“This scheme couldn’t be simpler. All people need to do is download a leaflet from our website or collect one from one of our sales centres. Then it’s just a case of filling in the details of both parties and asking your friend to drop it off on their first visit to their chosen development. If that friend goes on to purchase a new home, the person who recommended them receives £1,000.

“Lots of people have already taken advantage of the scheme in Nottinghamshire and with a real surge in sales at The Vales, we would expect to be giving out even more money over the coming months.”
