Homebuyers have a fresh chance to purchase a brand new Redrow home in South Liverpool with the launch of a further phase of homes at Cressington Heath.

The original development of 314 homes sold out last year and following that success Redrow has acquired a neighbouring parcel of land, where the first homes are now on sale.

The 48 homes in the latest phase are from the award-winning housebuilder’s sought-after New Heritage Collection.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “Cressington Heath was a tremendous success and attracted a good cross section of purchasers including first time buyers, families and downsizers. A flagship development in a neighbourhood that’s undergone a major regeneration, it was one of the very first places to feature designs from our New Heritage Collection and we’re delighted to be building in the area once again.

“The launch of this latest phase will enable those who perhaps missed out the first time round to purchase one of our quality built homes, while those already living at Cressington Heath may now be ready to make their next step on the property ladder.”

With a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes available, the development will cater for a variety of buyers and budgets.

The design of the homes combines the best of old and new, with traditional exteriors taking inspiration from the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement and bright, modern interiors to meet the demands of 21st century lifestyles.

Convivial open plan layouts will put the kitchen at the heart of the homes at Cressington Heath. Those kitchens will be well-equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

Both family bathrooms and en suites to master bedrooms will enjoy quality fixtures and fittings, with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.

“It will be some weeks before we’re able to invite visitors to look around a show home at Cressington Heath, but in the meantime they’ll be able to take virtual tours of properties around the country – including those in the earlier phase of the development – thanks to our broadband television channel Redrow.TV,” Lesley added.

Cressington Heath is less than four miles from Liverpool city centre yet a world away from the hustle and bustle of city living with coastal walks and parks close by.

The development has access to the local shops and amenities of Garston, as well as the ‘high street’ stores of the nearby Mersey Retail Park, in Speke. It’s also only a short drive from the leafy oasis of Sefton Park and the popular bars and restaurants of Lark Lane, Aigburth and Allerton Road.

Public transport is also very accessible, with a major bus route running along Garston Way; while Cressington Station and the Liverpool South Parkway railway station, are just a short journey away.

The M62 and M57 motorways are within easy commuting distance and provide easy access to most North West destinations; and with Liverpool John Lennon Airport just two miles away the homes are also well-suited to those who want to travel further afield.
