Taylor Wimpey’s The Chesterfields development of new homes for sale in Coventry was the ideal destination for homebuyer Hardev Lotey when it came to purchasing his first property.

First-time buyer Hardev Lotey was beginning to wonder whether he’d ever find the right house after viewing a number of new-build houses for sale in Coventry.

That was until the 28-year-old IT consultant discovered the high-quality homes available at The Chesterfields, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development of new homes in Coventry to the east of the city centre.

“I had been looking at other housebuilders’ developments on and off over the past few years, but couldn’t find the right property,” says Hardev, recalling his search for property for sale in Coventry.

“Either the layout was not right, the rooms were too small or the garden was tiny – so when I first heard about Taylor Wimpey Coventry’s The Chesterfields development I almost didn’t bother going along to investigate.”

Fortunately for Hardev, curiosity got the better of him and he was delighted with what he found when he paid a visit to the development of new build homes in Coventry. He didn’t hesitate in snapping up a three-bedroom semi-detached ‘Buxton’ property in Coventry for himself, his wife Manpreet (28) and their two-year-old daughter Jeevan.

“I liked the development straight away, and was impressed with the showhome at The Chesterfields, which gave me a real sense of how spacious the rooms of a Taylor Wimpey home are,” Hardev explains.

“After investigating the ‘Buxton’ I knew there would be enough room for us, and also for further down the line if we have more children. I was also pleased to find that the garden is nice and big, which is important for children in particular.”

Prior to moving to their new property, the Loteys had been living in Hardev’s family home in Wyken, which is just over a mile from The Chesterfields – so he’s well-placed to judge the benefits of the development.

He says: “There are quite a few new developments springing up, which can only be good for the area.

“It’s a great location as it’s easy to get into the city centre from, and for me personally, it’s straightforward to get to the A46 so I will have a good commute to where I work in Warwick.”

High-quality homes are being snapped up fast by eager buyers and now just one beautiful ‘Buxton’ similar to the one reserved by the Loteys remains available for sale.

This spacious detached home boasts a magnificent kitchen/dining room with an attractive bay window, a generous lounge opening through French doors to the private rear garden and a handy guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while a garage and allocated parking can be found outside.

Priced at just £169,995, the ‘Buxton’ also includes flooring throughout and turf to the rear garden.

Meanwhile, detached four-bedroom designs at The Chesterfields include the ‘Highclere’ and ‘Sandringham’, priced from only £204,995 and £209,995 respectively, while the two-bedroom ‘Blenheim’ coach house-style apartment is available from just £102,995.

All properties at the development are completed to the same high standard specification, including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

The new family-sized homes at The Chesterfields benefit from a range of everyday amenities on the doorstep and families will appreciate that a choice of schools for children of all ages is located within easy reach.

The development is just to the east of Coventry's rejuvenated city centre, which offers a host of shopping, leisure, sports and entertainment opportunities – indeed, the city is in the midst of a £4 billion capital investment programme.

Home to the latest bars, clubs and restaurants, Coventry is a cultural hotspot too, offering three main theatres, its famous ruined cathedral, art galleries and museums, plus the finest medieval guildhall in England.

Junction 2 of the M6 is less than five miles from the new homes, while the M40 and M42 are also just a short drive away. Coventry railway station, which operates regular services to London Euston in around an hour, and to Birmingham in under 30 minutes, is only two miles away.
