Quex Spring Wedding Fayre

The 2012 Quex Spring Wedding Fayre promises to inspire brides-to-be with an eclectic display of exhibits ranging from dresses, cakes, jewellery, photography and wedding cars, on Sunday 4th March.
With wedding planners reporting an increased demand for traditional retro-themed weddings, Quex Park offers a unique selection of fascinating and dramatic backdrops for traditional Victorian-styled weddings both within the historic Quex House and in its beautifully landscaped gardens.
There will be number of new exhibitors attending the Quex Spring Wedding Fayre this year, which will extend the range of services offered at Quex Park by the best wedding suppliers in Kent.
A stunning new gazebo, licensed in 2011 for outdoor weddings, compliments perfectly the fine Victorian Ironwork on the verandas of Quex House and the Powell-Cotton Museum.
For generations, the landscaped gardens at Quex House have been enjoyed by the Powell-Cotton family, the estate’s owners, and their friends. The family’s love of outdoor spaces is evident today in the stunning Victorian layout and planting. The grounds are tended to ensure that this legacy will be enjoyed by generations to come.
The family were well known for their hospitality and for opening their home and gardens to private parties, village celebrations and charitable functions.
The Hannah Dining Suite, named after Hannah Powell-Cotton the wife of Major Percy Powell-Cotton, offers brides and a beautifully decorated venue with a style and ambience that only historic settings can provide, where the emphasis is on fine dining using local produce, much of it sourced from the estate’s own farms.
Quex’s dedicated wedding consultants will be on hand throughout to assist in tailoring the most memorable day of a couple’s life together.
The highlight of the day will be a special grand prize draw, sponsored East Kent Chair Covers, Black Iris Florist and Quex Park, offering visitors the chance to win free venue styling.
