House-hunters Rob Warren and Jamie Brierley discovered the home of their dreams at Taylor Wimpey’s Brackens Court development of property for sale in Nottingham.

When the time came for Rob Warren and Jamie Brierley to buy their first property in Nottingham together, they knew exactly where to look.

Jamie (31) already owned a property at Taylor Wimpey’s Brackens Court development of new homes for sale in Nottingham, and held the leading housebuilder in such high regard that when the couple began house-hunting they started their search just around the corner.

They watched as a spacious new townhouse was built on a nearby street at Brackens Court, and once it was completed they took advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange initiative to make a stress-free move into their new Nottingham property.

“Jamie had been living on the development for a few years and was really impressed with the property and the service she’d received from Taylor Wimpey,” says Rob (28), a teacher, reflecting on their search for houses for sale in Nottingham.

“We were both happy with the development and just wanted a bit more space – and by using the Part Exchange scheme we were able to move without worrying about selling Jamie’s old place at Brackens Court.

“Everything went really smoothly and the Sales Executive was fantastic and kept us up to date with how everything was progressing.”

Since moving, the couple have been delighted with their new home – and equally pleased to still be living on the development where they have become so settled.

“We moved into our new detached townhouse last September; it’s got an excellent downstairs layout with a spacious kitchen and a separate dining room, and a lounge spanning the entire first floor. Plus, there’s a double garage and a generously-sized garden which are just the sort of things we are looking for at this stage in our lives.

“Brackens Court is a really friendly place to live and we’ve made a lot of friends on the development, we both appreciate life in this peaceful location away from the city centre.”

Only two four-bedroom homes remain on sale at Brackens Court from only £179,995, including the stunning ‘Sapphire’ detached house priced at just £194,995.

This impressive property features a contemporary kitchen/breakfast room, with access to a separate utility area, plus a spacious living room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a dining room, a study and a handy guest cloakroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two generously-sized en-suite bedrooms, two further well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside the property benefits from a detached single garage.

Like all homes at Brackens Court, the ‘Sapphire’ is completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make choosing one of these high-quality homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for those with a property to sell.

Under Part Exchange, for example, the leading housebuilder offers customers the market value of their current property, based on the average of independent professional valuations, with the agreed sum deducted from the price of their new home at Brackens Court.

They are then free to relax in their current place until the new home is ready to move into, with Taylor Wimpey as their guaranteed buyer.

Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual circumstances and are subject to availability with full details available from the Sales Executive.

Brackens Court is ideally located just a stroll from Bestwood Country Park offering 650 acres of meadows, ancient oak woodland and mill lakes.

Nottingham, one of England’s most vibrant cities, is just a short distance from each of the developments, putting a vast array of shopping, leisure and entertainment opportunities within easy reach.

Commuters will appreciate the excellent road links, with the M1 north and south a few minute’s drive away, while Nottingham’s train station has regular services to London, Birmingham and Sheffield.
