Thames Valley Housing are offering first-time buyers the opportunity to live moments away from desirable Twickenham Green with the launch of Gemini, their brand new development of 12 affordable one, two and three bedroom apartments in Twickenham on the 10th March.

Gemini has been developed for Thames Valley Housing by Bugler Developments and will be available through Shared Ownership, the part buy, part rent government initiative, which aims to help people purchase their own home. Guide prices at Gemini start from £87,500 for a 35% share.

Prospective buyers are welcome to speak to the sales team about the shared ownership buying model and the process of purchasing a new home with Thames Valley Housing.

At Gemini, every one, two and three bedroom apartment comes fully fitted with carpets to all living areas, ceramic floor tiling to kitchens and bathrooms and the kitchens are integrated with white goods, including a washing machine and full height fridge freezer. Each apartment benefits from gas central heating with energy efficient boilers as well as double glazing as standard. There are also photovoltaic panels which provide a renewable energy source to assist in the power of communal areas.

Each apartment comes with one allocated parking space plus membership of a local car club for up to two years.

Situated in Twickenham, residents at Gemini have everything needed for everyday life on their doorstep, plus it is only a short train journey to central London.

Kush Rawal, Head of Sales & Marketing comments: “Gemini offers a rare opportunity for purchasers to buy into a high quality development in this sought after area at an extremely affordable price. With shared ownership at Gemini, purchasers only need to put down a deposit on the share rather than the full price, offering first time buyers a real opportunity of getting their foot on the property ladder sooner rather than later.”

He continues: “Gemini benefits from both urban and rural culture. There are plenty of green spaces right on the doorstep including Bushy Park, Marble Hill Park and Radnor Gardens which runs along the Thames. It is also only a short journey into the centre of London making it the perfect place for commuting.”

Gemini is within easy access to the centre of London with Strawberry Hill station less than half a mile away, providing services to London Waterloo via Twickenham which only takes a minimum of 37 minutes. Kingston is also very close, with only a seven minute train ride leading to comprehensive shopping and entertainment facilities. There is a good selection of local schools including Waldegrave School for Girls very nearby as well as an abundance of shops restaurants and bars as well as access to riverside enjoyments of the Thames.

All of the properties at Gemini are available through Shared Ownership, the part-buy, part-rent government-led initiative, aimed at helping first time buyers, and those looking for help to buy their own home, get on the property ladder. To apply for Shared Ownership, purchasers need to have an annual household income of a maximum of £60,000; initially priority will be given to those who live or work in The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
