Available to buy on the open market at £129,995 (£103,996 with FirstBuy) and £149,995 (£119,996 with FirstBuy) respectively, the Westminster and Ashbourne house types are currently stamp duty exempt. But from the end of March purchasers will have to pay more than £1,000 in tax.

“Every penny counts when you’re buying your first home so timing is crucial. I would urge those who are planning to set up home to act now so that they can avoid having to find extra cash to pay stamp duty,” Marie added.
