Stunning view from Ark Royal House

Property-seekers looking for a stunning new apartment can enjoy enviable views by securing a new home at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Alver Village development in Gosport, Hampshire.

There is a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments offering glorious vistas of the surrounding area, with selected plots in Ark Royal House looking out across the Solent and others benefiting from views of Portsmouth’s award-winning Spinnaker Tower.

Many of the high-quality new-build apartments, priced from just £105,000 at Alver Village, boast their own private balcony from which to take in the sights of this former garrison town.

Fiona Creed, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Alver Village enjoys a prime position in Gosport and our impressive Ark Royal House apartments take advantage of this great location by offering unbeatable views of the area.

“I would encourage anyone who’s interested in securing one of these new homes to visit us at the development without delay – or somebody else could beat them to their ideal place!”

Just one of the new homes with a view at Alver Village is the two-bedroom ‘Garda’ apartment, priced £130,000, which features an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with French doors opening out to a private balcony, two double bedrooms and a main bathroom, plus allocated parking outside.

Alternative two-bedroom apartment designs are priced from £120,000, while one-bedroom plots are available from £105,000. Two-bedroom houses from only £165,000 and four-bedroom homes from as little as £215,000 are also on sale at the development.

Help to Buy is available at Alver Village, enabling eligible first-time buyers and existing homeowners to secure a Government loan for 20% of the full price of their new home – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

The initiative is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Alver Village is located in the former garrison town of Gosport, on a peninsula jutting out into the Solent which is connected by ferry to Portsmouth. There is a Tesco supermarket at the development, and the town centre, boasting restaurants and bars, museums and a range of water sports, is just a short distance away.

Alver Village has its own community centre and community square and is divided into four distinct character areas, with a dedicated pedestrian and cycle route running along the southern edge of the development.

Parents will appreciate the choice of schools for children of all ages with easy reach of home, including Gomer Infant School, which is rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, and Lee-On-The-Solent Infant School and Siskin, Grange and Gomer Junior Schools, which are all rated ‘good’ and are less than a mile from the development.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to Junction 11 of the M27, which is convenient for Portsmouth, Fareham or Southampton. Portsmouth can also be reached by passenger ferry from Gosport, which runs seven days a week and takes around seven minutes.

To take advantage of the stunning views on offer, apartment-hunters can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Grange Road, Rowner, Gosport, Hampshire, PO13 8AB, and open daily from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
