Back by popular demand, Chino Latino is once again offering to get you in a spin with its much loved sushi master classes, providing five sessions from 6 November.

The exclusive classes, which will take place every week for five weeks, will allow participants to learn the art of sushi making from Head Sushi Chef Lorenzo Bautista, who learned the craft while working in Japan.

Once they have watched demonstrations, the students will go on to create their own sushi rolls and will battle it out in the hope of becoming the class winner, as decided by Lorenzo Bautista who has worked in some of London and Dubai's most famous Japanese restaurants, including Zuma.

What's more, the final class will take on a festive theme and will see students creating sushi with a range of traditional Christmas ingredients, including turkey, ham, roast potatoes and salmon. The tastiest yuletide roll will earn a place on Chino Latino's seasonal menu and a percentage of the sales will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support (macmillan.org.uk).

Last year, the winning sushi roll contained salmon, prawns and cream cheese and it was a popular Christmas choice for diners in the restaurant.

The sushi master classes will take place on 6, 13, 20 and 27 November, with the final Christmas themed class going ahead on 4 December 2010.

The two-hour classes will start at midday can hold up to 16 people.

One class costs £35 per person and includes a complimentary glass of wine. To book, email avdwesthuizen@pphe.com. For more information on Chino Latino, visit ChinoLatino.co.uk.
