Wizz Air launches 3 new flights from Bucharest

Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, continues its expansion from Romania. Barely 4 months after the launch of 7 new flights from Bucharest and Târgu Mures, Wizz Air boosts its Romanian operations by introducing 3 new, long awaited routes.

Liverpool (UK), Parma (Italy) and Valencia (Spain) will become available from October for travellers from Bucharest.

The new flights will complement the carrier’s existing network of 8 routes from Bucharest and Târgu Mures. Flights to Liverpool and Parma will be operated as of 1 October, 3 times a week, while Valencia will be launched on 29 October and will be operated twice a week.

Recently, Wizz Air also announced that it would increase frequencies on some of its existing flights. On the Bucharest-Rome route, the airline will go up from currently 4 weekly flights to daily as of 8 June and the Bucharest-London operations will gradualy increase from thrice weekly to 6 times/week by 14 July.

Tickets are available right now on the airline’s website, Wizzair.com, with fares starting from as low as EUR 19.99 (including taxes and charges) for one-way travel.
