Wizz Air launches new flights to Dortmund from Tirgu Mures

Wizz Air announced today that it would expand its network from Tirgu Mures and launch its 5th route from the Transylvanian city. The new flight to Dortmund will commence on 28 February 2008.

The airline’s newest (6th) base was recently opened in Bucharest with a brand new aircraft and local crew employed. Shortly after the inauguration, Wizz Air has unveiled its growth plans in Romania to bring the second aircraft to its Bucharest base and add more routes from the Romanian capital as well as Tirgu Mures.

From February Wizz Air’s low fare network will consist of five (5) routes from Tirgu Mures and eight (8) routes from Bucharest which will be served with 15 and 38 frequencies per week respectively.

Wizz Air offers the following routes from Tirgu Mures:

Rome, 3-4 /week
Barcelona, 3/week
London, (starting October 2007) 3/week
Dortmund, (starting February 2008) 3/week
