The first home at Branwell Park in Guiseley sold during the launch weekend and Redrow is hoping to build on the development’s initial success.

More than 250 people registered their interest in the homes being built off Netherfield Road with around 50 of them attending a special invitation-only event. One eager buyer was so keen to call Branwell Park ‘home’ that they reserved their preferred property ‘off plan’ as soon as the first homes were released for sale.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “We knew from our database of potential purchasers that there’s a demand for quality built family homes in this part of Yorkshire and were delighted that so many people have already visited the sales office to discover more. The fact that we’ve already secured an ‘off plan’ sale before we’ve even opened a show home is testament to our reputation for building homes that people really want to live in.

“We’re working with a several other potential purchasers who want to make a move to a brand new home. We’re confident that the development will echo the success we have seen across the region with our New Heritage Collection of traditional looking homes.”

Current availability at Branwell Park includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes, priced from £259,999.

The architecture of the homes gives a nod to the past and is very traditional, while inside they are bright, modern and full of family friendly features including convivial open plan layouts that put the kitchen at the heart of the homes.

Those kitchens are well-equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer; while bathrooms and en-suites boast quality fixtures and fittings and an exclusive tile range.

“Buyers who act now will not only have a greater choice in the style of house and its position within the development, but also in the finish of their home,” Patsy added.

“Unlike those buying an older second hand property, they’ll be able to customise it from day one without having to rip out the old fixtures and fittings before installing new ones. Purchasers will be able to look forward to the fun of choosing everything from the finish of the kitchen cabinets and work surfaces to the bathroom tiles, safe in the knowledge that our skilled tradesmen will do the hard work for you.”

Those who want to buy a particular property that’s yet to be officially released for sale can take advantage of Redrow’s Early Bird scheme. By paying a fully refundable deposit they will be given first refusal to buy before the home is put on the market.

Branwell Park is within walking distance of Guiseley train station and residents of the development will be able to travel free on buses and trains in West Yorkshire for a year. As part of a package of community benefits negotiated with Leeds City Council, Redrow is offering one free MetroCard per household. The travel card will be provided free for the first year and discounted in years two and three.
