Honda F1 flies in Jenson Button

Jenson Button in full flow at BT Honda turned up the heat in the corporate market this week, bringing the glamour and thrills of Formula 1 direct to its fleet customers in the form of a flying visit from B•A•R Honda star, Jenson Button.

Four of Honda's major corporate accounts – Lex Vehicle Leasing, BT Fleet, National Grid and The AA turned out in force in four different parts of the UK to meet Jenson who arrived by helicopter accompanied by Channel 4's 5th Gear presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson and Honda's Head of Corporate Sales, Stephen Hollings.

More than 1,000 staff and managers at the four offices were able to ask Jenson questions about how he started his motorsport career, the current F1 season and how he saw the future. Winning new fans to the world of F1, Jenson also signed more than 400 autographs!

Stephen Hollings, Head of Corporate Sales, Honda (UK) commented: "To go to the place where things are happening is a key part of Honda's business philosophy. Taking perhaps our most famous ambassador to where Honda's Fleet sales growth is happening shows how committed Honda is to achieving in this key market and the depth of support from the whole business for this goal. Everyone seemed to have a good time as well!"
