The Magic of Disney in Concert to headline Jubilee Family Festival
Disney has unveiled highlights of the headline live show that will form the finale on both days of the Jubilee Family Festival presented by Sainsbury's. The festival will be hosted by The Royal Parks in HydePark on Saturday 2 June and Sunday 3 June 2012, and is expected to draw crowds of up to 50,000 ticket holders on each day.
'The Magic of Disney in Concert' will be a specially created performance that brings together songs, music and characters that span over 70 years of animated and live-action Disney films. Artists will be performing music and songs from treasured Disney movies including Tangled, Beauty and The Beast, The Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King. The 70-minute performance will add a sprinkling of Disney magic as the finale to each day, providing an unforgettable and unique experience for the whole family.
Bare Necessities (Jungle Book), Beauty and the Beast (Beauty and The Beast), When You Wish Upon A Star (Pinocchio), Under the Sea (The Little Mermaid) and Can You Feel The Love Tonight (The Lion King) are just some of the much loved and memorable Disney songs that are likely to feature in the concert, whilst Mickey Mousehimself will be making an appearance along with other classic characters, colourful pirates and all ten Disney Princesses - Ariel, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana.
