Honda’s CR-V now comes with £2,300 worth of extras, thanks to the introduction of a ‘5-2-1’ offer on all petrol and diesel models.

Every CR-V will be sold with a complimentary Honda Happiness service plan that pays for all routine servicing for five years (62,500 miles). This alone is worth over £1,000. But Honda’s latest offer also includes a superb hire purchase deal of zero per cent over two years, and one year’s fully-comprehensive insurance – free of charge.

And the Honda deals don’t stop there. From July, the ingenious six-seater FR-V benefits from an upgrade offer to give ‘diesel for the price of petrol’. This means all diesel-engined FR-Vs are available for the price of the same spec 2.0-litre i-VTEC car – a saving of £1,175!

Meanwhile, the Sport version of the all-conquering Civic 5-door now comes with front fog lights and a colour-coded rear spoiler for no extra charge.
