Around 7 million people in the UK suffer from hayfever. Whilst hayfever is not usually life threatening, it is very debilitating. Hayfever is caused by an allergic reaction to pollen. Some people are allergic to grass pollen and this means the hayfever can last from around mid-May to ate July. Other are allergic to tree pollen and this is prevailent from mid March to late May.

People who are allergic to pollen are often allergic to dustmites, pets and mould and these can further excarcebate the symptoms namely:

Sneezing
Runny Nose
Itchy bloodshot eyes
Stuffy nose
Itching around the face and mouth
Exhaustion
Sinusitis and blocked up ears
Burning throat

There are a plethora of eye drops, nasal sprays mainly based on antihistamines on the market but they all have side effects including drowsiness, headaches, difficulty in passing urine, dry mouth, blurred vision, sickness, vomiting, constipation or diarrhoea, palpitations, high blood pressure, dizziness, confusion, depression, disturbed sleep, tremors, fits and hyperactivity in children.

Bio-Life offer Allergy UK and National Pharmacy Association approved alternatives proven to be effective in over 80% of cases.

AirCleanse is a quaternium salts and essential oil based spray that neutralises and encapsulates the pollen grains. Pollen levels are at their highest mat midday and again between 5 & 6 pm in the evening. The spray is recommended for use at midday and in the evening and in the sufferers bedroom last thing at night. Reducing the amount of time that the sufferer is exposed to the grains has the same effect as reducing the pollen count.
