Last chance for a smooth move to Maldon with part exchange

Just five homes remain for sale at The Lakes, near Maldon, and home owners have nothing to lose and everything to gain by discovering the advantages of part-exchange, says Redrow Homes.

The final five detached homes represent the last chance for people to purchase at this picturesque waterside development. The award-winning developer is hosting a part-exchange weekend on April 14 and 15 to explain to potential purchasers how they could snap one up with ease before the development sells out.

Friendly sales consultants will be on hand to offer free, no obligation advice on how a customer’s existing property could be used as part payment for a brand new home from Redrow’s New Heritage Collection.

And they could have a deal wrapped up in just a few days, compared to nearly six months that research shows it could take them to sell their house.

Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow Homes, says: “It’s the last chance for people to purchase at this scenic lakeside venture with just a handful of homes available. We’d urge buyers to act now if they don’t want to miss out.

“Economic uncertainty might be putting some people off at the moment but, in reality, it’s a good time to buy – properties are competitively priced, interest rates are low and mortgage availability is improving.

“Our part exchange weekend will show people how they can use their existing home to part fund their new one. Effectively we’ll act as a cash buyer for their current property and will aim to make an offer within a few days.”

Those eligible for part-exchange will be trading up to a bigger, better, brand new home that’s easy to maintain and efficient to run.

Prices on the final four and five-bedroom detached homes at The Lakes are from £294,950 to £450,000.

Surrounded by water on three sides, The Lakes enjoys beautiful views of the River Blackwater and the properties are close to the picturesque Heybridge Basin, which offers walks along the sea wall.

The historic town of Maldon is close by and The Lakes is opposite Maldon’s Promenade Park, with its many acres of open space and children’s play areas. The development is approximately 6.5 miles from Witham Station, from where London Liverpool Street can be reached by direct rail link in around 45 minutes.

To find out more, visit The Lakes, on Hall Road, over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15. The marketing suite and show home are also open Thursday to Monday between 10am and 5.30pm. Alternatively,  visit redrow.co.uk.
