First homeowners move into their Essex properties

The first residents are preparing to pick up their keys and open the door to their brand new homes at Taylor Wimpey’s Reflections development of apartments in Romford, Essex.

This April, fast-acting homebuyers will start their new lives at this conveniently situated development of new build apartment for sale in Romford, which benefits from a superb location near the town’s bustling centre for quick rail links to central London in just 17 minutes.

The fabulous Plot 33 apartment is available to qualifying first-time buyers for 80% of its full price under the FirstBuy scheme – that’s just £109,596, including a 5% deposit of £6,850, subject to status.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage. The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

Alternatively, there’s a selection of two-bedroom ‘Pulse Court’ apartments on sale at Reflections from just £164,995, while three-bedroom ‘Pulse Court’ plots are priced from £194,995.

These apartments are available with the Government’s NewBuy initiative, which lets first-time buyers and those with a property to sell access their new home with a 95% loan-to-value mortgage. Full details of this helpful new scheme are available from the Sales Executive.
