On two feet or two wheels in the New Forest?

Bikes are the best way to get around!

Little Paddock in the New Forest is an adult-only complex comprised of 9 Scandinavian-style lodges, each of which is designed for just two people, and it is the perfect base for exploring the forest by foot or by bike.

With petrol prices reaching an all-time high this week, there has never been a better time to go for a break that minimises the need for the car.

The New Forest has more off-road cycle paths than anywhere else in the UK making it a mecca for mountain bike owners.

It is also a haven for walkers with numerous delightful, pre-designed routes, details of which are available free from the New Forest Visitor Information Centre in Lyndhurst.

Little Paddock is located right on the edge of the Avon Heath Country Park which also offers delightful walking, particularly in the spring with carpets of bluebells appearing hither and thither!

In addition to the lodges, Little Paddock also has three delightful B&B rooms available in owners Brett & Sue Jones’s main house, within the site, each of which can be accessed privately through French doors.

The complex has a resident’s alcohol licence and meals can be provided through a local farm shop on request, at a supplement. The meals are freshly prepared then delivered to the lodges to be heated-up in the oven.

There are also 2 hot tubs, a swimming pool and a tennis court.

The lodges are ideally located with the New Forest villages close by, and with Ringwood, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Southampton, Salisbury and Portsmouth all within easy reach

During the months of May, Little Paddock is offering 5 nights for the price of 4, from just £170 pp (two sharing). Five-night breaks in the B&B also cost from £170 pp during the same period.
