Miller homes will move with enhanced incentive on Varcity North plot

30th April 2012 Print

Recognising the difficulties faced by renters desperate to get on the property ladder, Miller Homes is giving them a boost to buy, by offering an enhanced incentive on a selected plot (12) at its Varcity North development. On plot 12, a stunning two bedroom apartment, Miller Homes has improved its equity loan scheme, MiWay, to 80%/20%, to enable an eager housebuyer the chance to buy a new home, without having to pay the full purchase price up front. Homebuyers can purchase this stylish, modern apartment from £132,000 with MiWay.

MiWay enables housebuyers to own 100% of their home whilst only needing to find finance for 80-85% of the purchase price. Eligible buyers who take advantage of MiWAY receive a loan from Miller Homes for the remaining 20-15% of the purchase price of their selected property repayable within 10 years or on the sale of the property.

Anne Marie Britton, Sales Director for Miller Homes Scotland East said: “Miller Homes understands the obstacles for first time buyers which, more often than not, result in them spending longer than they want in rented accommodation. Our enhanced MiWay package aims to help a first time buyer on to the property ladder in a manageable way and without them having to the pay the full purchase price upfront.

“Just as important, Varcity North offers an exciting range of one and two bedroom apartments, finished to a high specification and offering contemporary, stylish living at affordable prices. Swapping renting for owning a quality home in a good city location needn’t be too high a price to pay as Plot 12 shows.”

Plot 12, a second floor apartment, which combines contemporary design, practicality with quality finishes. Its large open plan living, dining and kitchen area offers superb space for relaxing or entertaining. In addition to the ensuite master bedroom, the apartment features a welcome surprise – a utility room, an amenity that doesn’t usually fit into many new build apartments.

Varcity North is part of Miller Homes’ flagship Varcity development and offers an eclectic mix of 209 one, two and three bedroom apartments, across five campuses which will, over time, include the conversion of the former Telford College building.
