Intrepid Travel adds capacity to meet demand for Peru

Adventure travel operator, Intrepid Travel has added four new departures in Peru during July and August to meet increased demand for the destination.
The move comes after a highly successful 2-4-1 promotion on a range of Peru trips, which Intrepid ran earlier this year. The promotion was supported enthusiastically by travel agents who were responsible for 81% of bookings.
The promotion boosted Intrepid's bookings to other South American countries, with Intrepid's passenger numbers to the region up by 345% in the first quarter of this year, compared with the same period last year.
Intrepid's trips in Peru range from £65 per person for a two-day break at Lake Titicaca, to a three-week Peru Highlights tour which costs from £1,975 per person.
