Honda employees to cycle final Tour of Britain stage

Six successful races have passed since the Tour ‘wheelied’ out of the starting blocks in Scunthorpe last Saturday, only Somerset and London remain. ITV4 is covering all the action from 7-8pm on Friday and Saturday.
As the official car partner to the Tour of Britain, Honda has provided over 40 support cars to Tour organisers, as well as a fleet of ST1300 Pan European motorbikes to ITV4, who are covering the two-wheeled event. Honda generators are also being used to power audio visual equipment at the start and finish of each race.
Over 20 Honda Car and Motorcycle dealerships are involved at their local Tour stage, offering spectators the chance to win a Civic Type R for a year, as well as a ride-out with 2008 Olympic Gold winning cyclist Ed Clancy, who Honda has been backing during the Tour. Other prizes include a CB600F Hornet motorcycle for a year and a T27IE Honwave inflatable boat. For details visit honda.co.uk/tob/
Honda dealers are also raising additional funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity by holding sponsored spinning sessions in their showrooms and by entering teams into the London Tour Ride. Seven local Honda dealers have also presented 'The Honda Combativity Award' at the end of their race stage to celebrate the cyclist who fought hardest during that stage.
