Elan Homes will have a new jewel in its property crown when it opens the doors to a new show home in Gloucester over the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend.

Decorated and furnished by a team of professional interior designers from Andrew Henry Interiors, the four-bedroom ‘Hardwick’ will make its debut at The Coppice, off Stroud Road, on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd, June and homebuyers are invited to join Elan to celebrate the opening.

Inspired by the needs of the modern family, the detached house is stylish yet functional. A soft colour palette of creams with accents of aubergine gives the home a sense of tranquillity and elegance. The lounge has refined ambiance, with plum colours through the soft furnishings and dark wood furniture. The expansive open-plan kitchen and breakfast room not only features a formal dining area, but also a family area with a sofa where children can sit and play while mum and dad are in the kitchen. This clever use of space shows how the rooms can be used flexibly to suit family life. Three of the bedrooms are generous doubles and the fourth has been styled as a little girl’s room.

Andrea Nippe, head of sales for Elan’s Southern region, said: “The purpose of the new show home is to provide inspiration to potential purchasers as to how they can utilise the space in these executive detached homes. They can see how each of the rooms works as a real living space, complete with furniture and accessories, and that is a valuable tool to help them to imagine themselves living here.

“There are just nine four and five-bedroom detached homes on this private development at The Coppice in total, which all enjoy a prime location on the edge of Gloucester, close to Robinswood Country Park. The houses are within easy reach of the city centre but also offer residents the benefits of being close to the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.”

Prices for the range of four and five-bedroom homes start from £299,995.

The location of The Coppice is ideal for local amenities in the immediate vicinity as well as the superb shopping, entertainment and nightlife on offer in historic Gloucester. Regular buses run along Stroud Road, taking residents into the city centre in just a few minutes. Gloucester train station is less than two miles away and offers direct trains to Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham in around an hour and the M5 is just a short drive away.
