Jubilee weekend launch for luxury new homes at Kings Acre

A new development in West Sussex with a royal name will mark its official launch during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend.
The aptly named Kings Acre, in Crawley Down, will eventually feature 56 brand new luxury properties by Redrow Homes from its sought-after New Heritage Collection, which combines Arts and Crafts inspired traditional exteriors with bright modern interiors.
A marketing suite and two impressive show homes will open off Grange Road over the Jubilee weekend (Saturday / Sunday, June 2 / 3) to showcase the quality of the three and four-bedroom homes due to go on sale.
Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow Homes, said: “Kings Acre is the first development to introduce our New Heritage Collection to West Sussex. It’s already proved popular with homebuyers in East Sussex, Kent and Essex and we’re confident our new venture will build on this success.
“We’re welcoming home buyers over the weekend to help us celebrate the launch of this prestigious new development. We’ll be embracing the spirit of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with themed decoration and traditional British sweets.”
The Cambridge and the Salisbury show homes are both four-bedroom properties, which have been designed and furnished with families in mind.
Mary explained: “In keeping with the ethos of our New Heritage Collection, we have designed the show homes to make a family feel like they could move right in and feel at home. The designers have implement a soft heritage green palette in one house and cream and aubergine in the other. In both a combination of textured and patterned wallpapers and beautiful fabrics enhance each room.”
Both houses have smart, classical-styled master bedrooms showing upholstered headboards with beautiful boutique hotel-style bedding and spacious storage options.
The children’s rooms are beautifully designed; in one home for a young girl who loves horse riding, in the other for a boy who loves biking, including feature woodland wall art.
Perfectly located in the picturesque village of Crawley Down, close to the M23 and seven miles from Gatwick Airport, the traditional homes at Kings Acre complement the surrounding established family homes.
All properties will feature contemporary interiors with an emphasis on convivial open-plan spaces for modern family living and thoughtfully planned kitchens incorporating top brand name appliances.
Crawley Down lies in the north east corner of West Sussex, just one mile from the border with Surrey. There are good commuter links from the nearby railway stations of East Grinstead and Three Bridges, from where direct trains into central London take around 35 minutes. The popular south coast resort of Brighton is less than 30 miles away.
As part of the planning agreement Redrow will provide additional funding for local education, libraries, public art and offsite highway works.
Enhancing the environment for residents and the wider community, a number of existing mature trees and hedgerows will be retained and two areas of open space will be incorporated into the development’s layout, including a belt of woodland to the south.
Prices will be released at the launch event.
