MINI United 2 Road trip to Holland
After the huge success of the inaugural MINI United two years ago, MINI United 2007 is set to light up Amsterdam on the weekend of 22-24 June. The MINI festival will be based out of Zandvoort race track, 30 minutes from Amsterdam and right next to the beach. As well as racing, activities will include live music, karting, exhibition displays and the opportunity to meet fellow MINI friends from around the world. The first festival in October 2005 was held in Italy, near Bologna. Over 6,000 people visited the show from 40 countries including Russia, Australia and Thailand. The unique mixture of festival excitement, motor racing and community experience created the demand from MINI owners for a re-run.
The drive to Amsterdam from London is only 125 miles via the Harwich ferry or 300 miles via Folkestone. Registration, accommodation advice and a forum are online at mini.com/miniunited. More details will follow as the event draws closer. The registration cost is 25 Euros.
