MINI UK announces new charity partner
MINI UK will be supporting national children’s charity KidsOut. The British-based car manufacturer plans to identify and create opportunities that will raise funds for the charity and the children it supports. In 2006, KidsOut was able to help 60,000 disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK. The charity’s aim of providing fun and happiness for children living in challenging and difficult circumstances extends to providing the opportunities and experiences that offer tangible benefits for their long-term happiness.
As well as generating additional income, MINI will seek to integrate KidsOut into several areas of its operations in order to build a greater national awareness of the charity.
KidsOut Chief Executive, Emma Sambrook, remarked: “We are thrilled to be working with MINI UK as their chosen charity partner. The widespread recognition of MINI’s brand and products gives us a fantastic platform on which to develop genuine opportunities that will benefit disadvantaged children and young people all over the UK.”
Andy Hearn, General Manager for MINI UK, said: “We hope to provide further impetus to the great work achieved by KidsOut. Our national dealer network, numerous customer events and marketing activities all represent outlets for charity support. Our work will focus on helping many more of those children currently suffering from challenging conditions in their personal lives.”
