Miller Homes East Midlands is helping househunters in Lincolnshire to see just how affordable a new home can be.

The housebuilder is holding a special financial advice evening at its popular Deansleigh development in Lincoln on Thursday 7 June, 4-7pm.

Visitors will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine, before getting the chance to speak to an independent financial advisor and explore the properties that Deansleigh has to offer.

They will be on hand to offer free, no obligation advice to show how easy it can be to get on to the property ladder and move into a brand new home, full of the quality and character that Miller Homes is renowned for.

“Regardless of whether it is your first step into the property market or if you are looking to upgrade or downsize, buying a home can be a daunting prospect,” commented Paul Walters, regional sales manager for Miller Homes East Midlands.

“We want to make sure that people make informed choices and are aware of all of the options available to them.

“Our financial advice evening is the perfect opportunity to come and see just why Deansleigh is one of our most popular developments and talk to one of our financial advisors to see just how flexible the buying process can be.”

Just one of the options that will be highlighted over the course of the evening will be the FirstBuy scheme, designed to help first time buyers into affordable home ownership. Those qualifying are able to purchase 100 per cent of a selected property, but pay just 80 per cent now, with Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remainder in the form of an equity loan.

Homes available at Deansleigh as part of the scheme include the three-bedroom Hawthorne style property. Featuring French doors and a luxurious master bedroom with en-suite shower room, the Hawthorne starts from £139,950 or £111,960 as part of FirstBuy.

“Many people find that FirstBuy offers the comfort and security that they need,” concluded Paul. “The scheme is expected to help around 10,500 buyers onto the property ladder over the next two years. Our financial advisors at Deansleigh will be able to talk you through the qualifying criteria and let you know if FirstBuy is the right option.”

Deansleigh has become one of Miller Homes’ most successful developments. Its mix of quality one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, along with its convenient location on the northern edge of Lincoln, has made it the ideal choice for families, couples, first time buyers and young professionals alike.
