The Heritage Motor Centre, home to the largest collection of historic British cars, is proud to be hosting three great British Rallies this summer!

The Morgan Activities weekend, which is a new Rally, takes place on the 28 & 29 July from 10am – 5pm. Entrants will be competing in various disciplines, including Gymkhana, AutoSolo, Concours & a Pit Stop challenge. Some cars will be taking part in a Cavalcade on the Saturday so there will be plenty of opportunities to see Morgans on the move!

The 1100 Club National Rally will take place on the 11 & 12 August from 10am – 5pm. The Rally will be celebrating 50 years of the BMC 1100, the successful British Car, designed by Sir Alec Issigonis. Surviving members from the original team will be present for what promises to be a great gathering and is not to be missed if you love the 1100 or derivatives. The 1100s and 1300s that will have taken part in the epic Land's End to John O'Groats road run will end their journey at the HMC on the Saturday. It is hoped that the 1100 skeleton car will be on display and there will be a chance to meet members of the original AD016 Design Team. A new book ‘The Story of the BMC 1100 ‘was launched by the Club at the HMC in May and will be available during the weekend from The 1100 Club.

The P6 Rover Owners Club, which celebrates its 30th anniversary, takes place on Sunday 12 August. The Rally will be open to all Rovers and Classics. The P6 Rover Owners Club was established in 1982 and two days before the Rally it will also be the 50th birthday of the 'Talago' P6. This amazing prototype and the new owner of the 'Talago' 16 DYF will be driving all the way from its home in the Netherlands to be at the Rally.

These Rallies are FREE of charge to view, and all have free parking. There will also be FREE entry to a small Craft Fair on Sunday 29 July. Standard entrance fees apply for entry to the Museum. To be part of these Rallies, please contact the Club organisers. To find out more information, visit the website at heritage-motor-centre.co.uk.
