TD celebrates new app with £20,000 Amazon voucher giveaway
TD Direct Investing (TD), one of the UK's leading execution only brokers, has added to its mobile trading suite with the launch of the TD Trading app for Android, and is celebrating by giving away a £500 Amazon voucher every day for 40 days.
The latest addition follows the success of the award-winning TD Trading App for iPhone, as well as the TD Financial Spread Trading App, which were both launched in 2011.
Stuart Welch, CEO, TD Direct Investing comments: "Since launching our first app back in 2011, we have seen mobile overtake telephone as the second most popular method of trading, behind online.
"At TD we certainly see mobile technology as a growth area and will be looking at even more developments very soon. In the meantime, the Android operating system is fast becoming one of the preferred choices in the smartphone market, so we fully expect our Android app to be equally as popular as our iPhone TD Trading App."
TD is celebrating the launch of its Android app with a £20,000 give-away. Every person who places a trade via the TD Trading App (excluding the TD Financial Spread Trading App) between 25th June and 17th August will be entered into a prize draw. Each day during the competition a name will be drawn at random and awarded £500 in Amazon vouchers1 (each name can only be drawn once during this promotion).
The TD Trading App is free to download and clients are able to:
Track their portfolio and see an overview of their accounts
Place equity investment trades on 15 international markets in nine different currencies
Obtain live quotes
Create a specific Watch List to monitor potential opportunities in real time (prices are delayed by 15 minutes when customers are not logged in to their account)
Switch between their linked accounts - such as their Trading Account, Trading ISA and TD SIPP accounts - to place trades
Non-customers can also take advantage of some of the apps' features such as accessing quotes (15 minute delayed prices) and creating their own Watch List. If non-customers wish to apply for a TD account they simply need to log onto tddirectinvesting.co.uk.
