Free wet-weather gear for stays at Little Paddock in the New Forest

29th June 2012 Print

Little Paddock, a collection of 9 Scandinavian-style wooden lodges on the edge of the New Forest, is providing free ponchos and ‘festival boots’ (overshoes) for guests to keep them dry should the wet weather persist!

Comments Sue Jones, co-owner of Little Paddock: “We decided to give our guests some free protective clothing just in case they get caught in a sudden shower.

“I know we are biased, but we think the New Forest is a wonderful place, whatever the weather, and there are plenty of great pubs and restaurants in which to seek shelter, before returning at the end of the day to your cosy wooden lodge here at Little Paddock.”

The ‘adult-only’ complex also has a tennis court, swimming pool, two hot tubs and a bar. Though the lodges are self-catering with fully-equipped kitchens, the Jones’s will arrange to deliver prepared meals or breakfast hampers at a supplement.

The New Forest has plenty of sheltered places of interest to visit should the weather turn sour including the National Motor Museum and Palace at Beaulieu, historic stately home Braemore House, Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, St. Barbe Museum & Gallery, The New Forest Centre & Museum, and Bucklers Hard.

The price of a 3-night stay from now until the end of July on selected lodges is from just £143 pp (2 sharing) – including free poncho and festival boots!
