Improved Quidco app means more money for shoppers

The UK cashback site Quidco, has improved its mobile app enabling smart phone shoppers to take advantage of more offers and cash incentives, from over 70 retailers, when out and about on the high-street.

Launched in May 2011, the UK's first ‘check in for cash app' has paid Quidco users over £48,500. This is set to increase significantly as the number of retailers set to join the platform will leap from seven to over 70. Users will be able to see all nearby money saving offers, including vouchers and instore cashback from high-street giants such as Debenhams, Argos, Vodafone and New Look.

The ‘check in' function, now available in over 22,000 UK locations, rewards the user with cash when they check in upon entering a store. The shopper is under no obligation to make further purchases and the monetary incentive is paid into the Quidco user's account. Responsible for driving footfall for struggling retailers and encouraging shoppers to peruse for longer, the improved app is hoping to inject a new lease of life in to the ailing British high street.

We are therefore delighted to build on this success, adding more stores to the ‘check in' functionality. This will only mean increased coverage for shoppers when on the high street, resulting in increased check in amounts."

Click on chosen deal and take advantage of offers and claim check in amounts

Wait for check in amounts to be paid by Quidco into chosen bank or Paypal account

Quidco is the UK's biggest cashback site that pays people when they make a purchase from any of the 3,300 retailers listed on its website. As well as launching the UK's first check in for cash app, the website is also responsible for bringing the first integrated comparison and cashback tool in car insurance to the marketplace.
