Specialist Tanzania has put together a week-long trip to Tanzania which costs from just £1645 pp including international flights.

It focusses on the very best of the northern Tanzania’s contrasting game-viewing areas and National Parks, at a price affordable to those on a more restricted safari budget.

Travel is by private safari vehicle with a knowledgeable driver/wildlife guide commencing the tour in Arusha, heading south to Lake Manyara and the dramatic escarpments of the Great Rift Valley.

The main highlight of the safari is the magnificent Serengeti National Park with two days of game viewing and the chance to take an unforgettable balloon flight over the vast Serengeti plains.

Next on the itinerary is the ‘Cradle of Mankind’ at Olduvai Gorge and the wildlife-packed Ngorongoro Crater before spending your final night at Tarangire with its giant baobabs and elephant herds.

Accommodation during the safari is in spacious three-man tents (but only sleeping 2) at Migunga, Seronera, Simba and Zion Campsites, all of which are idealy located for optimum game viewing in the National Parks.

You can expect to see an abundance of wildlife and travel time between the major game viewing areas is relatively short, maximising the days, with plenty of awe-inspiring scenery, colourful Maasai people and wildlife to spot en route.

The holiday costs from £1645 pp (2 sharing) including international flights, park entrance fees, camping and meals as stated in the itinerary, travel by private 4x4 throughout and a private safari guide/driver and cook.
