Moving into a new four bedroom house at Crest Nicholson’s Harvest Fields development in Sutton Coldfield is a dream come true for its first residents, Paul and Catherine Ludlow.

The Ludlows have lived in the Sutton Coldfield area with their two children for the past eight years and had always wanted to purchase a home at Crest Nicholson’s Harvest Fields development. When they heard that the final phase of the development would be launching they leapt at the chance to speak with the Crest Nicholson sales team about the properties that would be available to them.

Catherine Ludlow explains: “We were really excited when we heard that Crest Nicholson was launching the final phase of its development at Harvest Fields. We had wanted to purchase a new build property for a while and this was perfect timing for us as we’d been looking to move to a larger property in the Sutton Coldfield area for some time. We wanted to secure a house that had enough space for my husband to work from home, as well as to accommodate visitors, and to remain in the catchment area for the local secondary school that our son attends.

“We met with the Crest Nicholson Sales Advisors on the first day the development opened. They were able to show us the different properties and schemes available to us. There was a really good selection of homes available but in the end we decided on the Middleavon as it offered the four good sized bedrooms that we were looking for, as well as featuring a really spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room with doors out to the garden, which we were keen to have as it is ideal for family life and entertaining.”

The family’s move was made easier thanks to Crest Nicholson’s Part Exchange Scheme, which offers an ideal solution for homebuyers looking to upsize and provides an immediate cash buyer for their home, with independent valuations ensuring they receive market value. This can give homebuyers extra piece of mind by removing complicated chain delays and breakdowns, often significantly reducing the time it takes to move into their new home.

“Using Crest Nicholson’s Part Exchange Scheme, as well as receiving advise from their team of Financial Advisers really helped speed up the process and meant we had a stress free move as we didn’t have to worry about selling our property,” added Catherine.

“We really are thrilled with our new family home and it was so exciting to be able to choose flooring, tiles and kitchen units which were all included in the purchase price. The service we have received from Crest Nicholson has been first class as is the high standard specification build. The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful, and we’d definitely recommend a Crest home to other buyers.

Amanda Benjamin, Senior Sales Manager at Crest Nicholson Midlands commented: “We are delighted that Paul and Catherine are so pleased with their new home and we want to wish them a really warm welcome as our first residents on this phase of the development. Harvest Fields is proving really popular with homebuyers with xx% of homes now sold, so we would urge anyone interested to come and look round the development soon before our remaining properties are snapped up.”

The final phase of the development at Harvest Fields offers a range of three, four and five bedroom detached homes ideally located on the north side of the much sought after and busy town of Sutton Coldfield and within 10 miles of the Cathedral city of Lichfield. Harvest Fields is an established community with excellent links to the M42 and M6, as well as bus and train lines into Birmingham New Street.

Current availability at Harvest Fields starts at £279,950 for a four bedroom Padstow.
