Buying a new home is on many people’s agenda, especially first time buyers, but money remains an issue. Recognising that, Miller Homes is now making it easier for housebuyers to move into their dream home at the Victoria Mills development in Dunfermline by paying nothing until October.

Housebuyers can reserve their new home now, knowing that it will be held for them, allowing them to save and plan for the move-in day.

This is the latest way in which Miller Homes is helping to take some of the stress out of buying a new home or moving. The Five Star housebuilder offers MiWay and Deposit Match incentives to assist buyers make the move.

MiWay enables housebuyers to own 100% of their home immediately whilst only needing to find finance for 80-85% of the purchase price. Eligible buyers who take advantage of MiWAY receive a loan from Miller Homes for the remaining 20-15% of the purchase price of their selected property repayable within 10 years or on the sale of the property.

Deposit Match will fund up to five per cent of the purchase price of the property. The housebuyer will pay the additional five per cent, giving them the required deposit in order to obtain a 90 per cent mortgage.

These offers are subject to terms and conditions, which can be found online at millerhomes.co.uk.

Victoria Mills is on the site of the former Victoria Works in Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline. Just yards from the Carnegie Leisure Centre and the main shopping area, this unique collection of two and three bedroom homes has been designed with the busy urban professional in mind. Victoria Mills is also perfectly positioned for commuters who are looking for quick access into the rest of Fife, Edinburgh and beyond.

The striking apartments at Victoria Mills combine convenience with uncompromisingly modern styling and the variety of interior layouts and features adds immensely to the appeal.

Anne Marie Britton, Sales Director for Miller Homes Scotland East said: “Buy now, pay in October ensures that housebuyers don’t miss out on their dream home as we will reserve the property and take it off the market. The purchaser then knows that the house is theirs, giving them time to save or buy new furniture.

“First-time buyers in particular are looking for practical help with their move and we hope that this additional support will go some way to ease the pressure buyers feel when they see a house but need a little more time to secure funding.”
