There’s nothing like a good old cuppa and what better place to enjoy it than in the comfort of your own home! And, here in Yorkshire, the heart of the nation’s tea drinkers, a cup of tea can help with almost anything, including purchasing a new home!

During the weekend of 28th, 29th and 30th July, at Miller Homes developments across the region, the kettle will be on in celebration of Yorkshire Day, so that you can enjoy a cup of tea whilst you wander around a show home and discuss your individual requirements with a helpful and knowledgeable sales adviser.

“We always celebrate Yorkshire Day at each of our Yorkshire based developments and it’s always with a cup of Yorkshire Tea,” said Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire. “Yorkshire is the home of the cuppa and is the drink of choice for celebrations, commiserations and when you just need five minutes peace and quiet.”

Yorkshire Tea produce over 22 million teabags each day at their Harrogate factory and have strict quality control measures in place. Most interesting, each of their production lines is named after one of Yorkshire Rivers namely Swale, Esk, Wharfe and Nidd which leaves a clear audit trail on its packaging.

And, whilst Miller Homes doesn’t build quite that many homes, quality is still at the very heart of its business ethos.

“Building quality homes is one of our key targets and we achieve this through ensuring we have well designed homes, robust materials and qualified and talented staff to ensure homes are built to a high standard and that we do this as ethically and responsibly as we can,” said Steve. “In our most recent customer satisfaction survey over 97 per cent of our customers said they would recommend us to a friends, which is a pleasing result.”
