Two-night sailing break to the New Forest

In celebration of the Olympics and local hero Ben Ainslie who is expected to strike gold, Cottage Lodge – the five-star boutique B&B in Brockenhurst – has put together a special two-night break which includes a sailing cruise to the Isle of Wight from Lymington with lunch or dinner on-board.
The modern, 45foot, Jeanneau yacht, which can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people, is based at Lymington Yacht Haven.
The day starts with a champagne reception on arrival before enjoying a leisurely cruise to Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Guests are then free to spend an hour on the Island, to wander around and maybe enjoy a coffee (or something stronger) whilst back on the boat a 2-course lunch or dinner is prepared by the crew, and then enjoyed on the deck.
The six hour trips run from 9.30am-3.30pm or from 3.30pm-9.30pm.
Cottage Lodge is no ordinary B&B; it has 15 rooms, each of which has been individually designed and furnished to the highest of standards.
The property has an ‘eco’ theme throughout, with furnishings, decorating, flooring and power supply all chosen for their environmentally-friendly properties (one room even has a bike which can be used to power the television).
All room tariffs include Cottage Lodge’s famous English breakfast, which is made from entirely locally sourced ingredients.
The special two-night sailing stay at Cottage Lodge costs from £198 pp (two sharing a four-poster-bed room) on a B&B basis.
