Cheshire, Derbyshire and Dunfermline increase bond rates

From today, 3 August 2012, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Dunfermline Building Societies, part of the Nationwide Group, are increasing selected bond rates by up to 0.20% and launching new two and three-year fixed rate bonds for maturing customers.

Cheshire Building Society

The new issues being launched are:

Six-month Fixed Rate Bond paying between 2.01% and 2.26% AER (2.00% and 2.25% gross p.a.)

One-year Fixed Rate Bond paying between 2.45% and 2.70% gross p.a./AER

Two-year Fixed Rate Bond paying between 2.65% and 2.90% gross p.a./AER (for maturing Fixed Rate Bond customers only)

Three-year Fixed Rate Bond paying between 2.85% and 3.00% gross p.a./AER (for maturing Fixed Rate Bond customers only)

Previous issues were withdrawn from sale at the close of business on Thursday 2 August 2012.

Derbyshire Building Society

The new issues being launched are:

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 251 paying between 2.01% and 2.26% AER (2.00% and 2.25% gross p.a.)

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 252 paying between 2.45% and 2.70% gross p.a./AER

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 253 paying between 2.65% and 2.90% gross p.a./AER (for maturing Fixed Rate Bond customers only)

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 254 paying between 2.85% and 3.00% gross p.a./AER (for maturing Fixed Rate Bond customers only)

Previous issues were withdrawn from sale at the close of business on Thursday 2 August 2012.

Dunfermline Building Society

The new issues being launched are:

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 124 paying between 2.01% and 2.26% AER (2.00% and 2.25% gross p.a.)

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 125 paying between 2.45% and 2.70% gross p.a./AER

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 126 paying between 2.65% and 2.90% gross p.a./AER (for maturing Fixed Rate Bond customers only)

Fixed Rate Bond Issue 127 paying between 2.85% and 3.00% gross p.a./AER (for maturing Fixed Rate Bond customers only)

Previous issues were withdrawn from sale at the close of business on Thursday 2 August 2012.

All accounts must be opened with a minimum of £100. The rate paid on all of the above Bonds depends on the balance of the account. All the rates noted are for annual interest. Monthly interest options are also available on the Fixed Rate Bonds.
