Exclusive preview of Morgan Court

4th September 2012 Print

Retirees and their families in Petworth are being invited to the sparkling preview of McCarthy & Stone’s new retirement development, Morgan Court, later this month.

The event on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September will be the first opportunity for anyone interested in finding out more about Later Living to see for themselves what life at Morgan Court could be like and what it has to offer.

Visitors can pop into the development on Station Road anytime between 11.00am to 4.00pm throughout the two day event and, after taking a good look around the fully furnished show complex and communal facilities, relax in the residents’ lounge with a complementary glass of bubbly.

Sharon Callcut, marketing manager for McCarthy & Stone South East, said: “We’re excited to finally be opening the doors to Morgan Court and are keen to show off the many benefits that life here could offer our potential buyers.

“Buying at our new development will provide the ideal opportunity for the over 60’s to put their feet up and really enjoy the independence that Later Living brings, whilst also having the added peace of mind of living in a manageable and secure home. We would urge anyone interested to bring their friends and family along to this event, and find out more about how easy buying a new retirement apartment with McCarthy & Stone could be.”

Morgan Court consists of one and two bedroom Later Living apartments and is situated within easy walking distance of Petworth’s main market square with its antique shops, cafés and restaurants.

The development is ideally located near to local amenities and bus stops, providing access to the delightful towns and villages close by such as East Lavington, Byworth, Tillington, Upperton and Fox Hill. Petworth is one hour away from Heathrow and Gatwick airports and an easy drive from the Channel ports. Two mainline stations at Haslemere and Pulborough are approximately 20 minutes away.

Each property comprises an open plan lounge and dining room, adjoining kitchen, one or two double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Special features include 24 hour emergency call points, electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, illuminated light switches, a security entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.

Residents at Morgan Court will also be able to enjoy beautiful gardens, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family or friends to stay at the development’s guest suite.
