Infiniti M35h hybrid on fast track to business success

Infiniti’s “no compromises” approach to luxury performance motoring reaches new heights with a special version of the Infiniti M35h hybrid optimised for business users.

The new Infiniti M35h Business Edition meets all requirements whether the drive is for business or for pleasure. Efficient, tax-friendly hybrid power during the working week combines with breathtaking performance and trademark Infiniti driving appeal to make private motoring memorable.

A balance of abilities across key areas means the new limited edition model can tick all the right boxes – including offering an unbeatable £399 per month finance deal (conditions apply).

With 0-62mph in just 5.5 seconds, the M35h Business Edition – recorded as the world’s fastest-accelerating hybrid saloon in 2011 by Guinness World Records – is also loaded with driver appeal, but not at the expense of fuel consumption. That’s 40.9mpg on the combined cycle, but with zero consumption, and zero CO2 emissions, when the innovative hybrid system employs silent all-electric power for driving in congested city streets.

There is good news too on the tax front. With on-the-road prices from £42,020 the P11D value is ultra competitive, particularly since there’s just the single option of metallic paint. Everything else on the Business Edition is standard, including advanced Connectiviti+ navigation. CO2 of 159g/km guarantees 20% Write Down Allowance (WDA), while on the personal tax front the M35h Business Edition falls into the 22% company car tax band for 2012/13 – far lower than for equivalently powerful non-hybrid petrol saloons.

No Business Edition would be complete without the most advanced safety features and the M35h Business Edition obliges with Bi-xenon Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), rear-view camera, parking sensors and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Whether the drive is for business or pleasure, comfort is looked after thanks to heated and ventilated front seats, semi-aniline leather seat trim, Forest Air® climate control, HDD Music Box and voice-recognition navigation, Bluetooth and USB connector.

The M35h Business Edition is for business drivers who want to remain individuals behind the wheel, and a typically emotive Infiniti design sets the driver apart from the usual executive car herd.

There’s more good business practice in the ownership experience, with VIP levels of customer care from brand new boutique Infiniti Centres now open in Reading, London (Piccadilly), Stockport, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham, with Hull Infiniti Centre due to open this autumn.  All Infiniti Centres have their own business car advisors.

“For the first time we have been able to create the perfect business Infiniti in the performance luxury class,” said Infiniti Regional Director Tony Lewis. “The M35h Business Edition is the complete package for company drivers and will build on the fleet success we have already had with the M35h in GT Premium trim.

“Whether for the sales director on 30,000 miles a year or the chairman on one third that mileage, the M35h Business Edition ticks all the boxes. Never has business driving been so exciting or personal motoring so pleasurable.”

The M35h Business Edition is based on the M35h GT model announced earlier in 2012, at the same time as a highly competitive new hybrid price structure was confirmed. The latest M35h uses Infiniti’s 3.5-litre V6 hybrid drivetrain, coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission, which produces a total power output of 364PS and CO2 of 159g/km.

Thanks to its 68PS electric motor, lithium ion batteries and innovative twin-clutch layout, the M35h Business Edition is able to go faster, further and for longer in silent, emissions-free electric mode than other hybrids, a particular advantage in dense city traffic. Engine stop-start and regenerative braking ensure the car enters eco mode as often as possible. In the 2011 MPG Marathon the M35h completed almost half the total distance on electric power alone, beating the official combined fuel consumption figure by 7%.

The M35h Business Edition is available to business customers for just £399 per month (with comparable monthly payments available to private buyers via Selectiviti PCP). The business lease is for 10,000 miles a year and requires a first-month advance rental of 20% (£8540) followed by 35 monthly payments of £399 with a final rental of £16,026 (all figures inclusive of VAT). At the end of the contract the car can continue to be used for an annual rental of £50 plus VAT. Finance is available subject to status on eligible new vehicles registered between 1 September 2012 and 31 December 2012.
