Mika to sing at UK launch of new Fiat 500

Grammy-nominated singing sensation, Mika, is the headline act at the UK launch of the new FIAT 500 in central London.

Mika, 24, will perform at the exclusive showbiz and VIP event at the British Airways London Eye on Monday 21 January.

The pop superstar will perform songs from his Life In Cartoon Motion album.

The ticketed event – which starts at 6.00pm – will feature bands, DJs, top presenters and a fantastic light show as the new FIAT 500 is unveiled at 8.00pm – exactly 500 hours into 2008.

The car will take a flight in a capsule on the London Eye and remain ‘airborne’ for two weeks as part of the event.

Fiat UK Marketing Director Elena Bernardelli says: “We are delighted that an artist as popular and successful as Mika will headline the UK launch of our award-winning Fiat 500.”
