Intrepid adds Italy & Turkey sailing for 2013
Intrepid Travel is adding six new small group sailing adventures to its 2013 Europe programme, after the successful launch of its sailing itineraries in Croatia, Greece and Thailand in 2012.
Sail Italy - Aeolian Islands (seven days from £1,075) explores the volcanic island of Stromboli, as well as Lipari, Panarea and the historic port of Milazzo in Sicily. More island-hopping is on offer on the Sail Italy - Amalfi Coast itinerary (seven days from £1,040) which discovers the culinary delights of Naples, white beaches of Ischia, historic wonders of Pompeii, and iconic Capri. For travellers with less time, there are four-day itineraries on the Amalfi Coast.
Sail Turkey - Gocek to Antalya (eight days from £1,125) cruises along the stunning Lycian coast, stopping to explore underwater worlds hidden within secluded bays, visit ancient tombs and a historic Phoenician port, wander through whitewashed villages, and spot dolphins at play in the Bay of Antalya.
Intrepid’s new sailing adventures will depart regularly from April to October 2013 on fully-equipped yachts with an experienced crew and a maximum of eight passengers. Places can be booked by the berth, making them ideal for singles, couples or groups of friends who want some sun and sea as well as time to explore cobble-stoned villages, hike to ancient ruins, and enjoy stunning landscapes.

A new Highlights of Central Europe tour (nine days from £1,280) visits centuries-old castles, Bohemian fairytale towns and cosmopolitan cities as it journeys from Munich to Budapest, via Prague and Vienna.
