American Express bonus offer celebrates 10 years of Nectar

As Nectar - the UK's largest loyalty programme - celebrates its 10th birthday, American Express is giving new Nectar Credit Card members the chance to receive ‘many happy returns' of their own with 10,000 Nectar bonus points.

This welcome offer is available from today until 7 November and will be awarded when the Card member spends £1,000 within the first three months of Card membership.

Using the Nectar Credit Card, 2 points can be collected for every full £1 spent and charged on the Card with Nectar partners, and 1 point for every full £1 spent and charged on the Card elsewhere even abroad. These points can be redeemed on holidays, treats, or everyday necessities at Nectar partners such as Sainsbury's, Homebase and easyJet.

There are ways to collect Nectar points even faster on everyday spend. ‘Double dipping' by using the loyalty card and paying with the Nectar Credit Card in the same transaction earns up to 4 Nectar points for every full £1 spent at participating partners. Card members can also build up their points more quickly with complimentary Supplementary Credit Cards for family members and friends.
