Bellway’s Giant Apartment Sale provides big savings

For a limited period only, Bellway Homes is having a ‘Giant Apartment Sale’ across four of its most popular developments. With prices starting from a highly competitive £74,995 and a number of incentives available too, house hunters are set to make big savings this autumn.

Available at Pyrus and Eastfields, both situated within Glasgow’s east end, Laird’s Gate in Cambuslang and Ainslie Square in Renfrew, Bellway Homes is offering a choice of some of the keenest priced apartments currently for sale within these locations, combined with several incentives that will help many buyers transform the dream of owning their own home into a reality.

Included in ‘Giant Apartment Sale’ is the choice of Bellway Homes’ ‘5% Deposit Paid’ incentive or the recently launched ‘Mi New Home’ scheme, which is supported by the Scottish Government. Coupled with these great options is that buyers only have to pay a £99 reservation fee.

With ‘5% Deposit Paid’, Bellway Homes provides a maximum 5% of the purchase price as a contribution towards a buyer’s deposit. The larger the deposit purchasers can put down, the better the interest rate will be. Bellway’s sales advisors can also refer buyers to the company’s nominated mortgage broker who can recommend a full range of lenders who are supportive of the ‘5% Deposit Paid scheme’.

‘Mi New Home’ is available across all four developments. This innovative new initiative, developed by the home building industry, aims to help overcome the difficulty caused by large deposit requirements for buyers. Based on a recent survey by the Bank of Scotland, over half of respondents considered a deposit the biggest obstacle to owning their own home, with an average deposit of more than £28,000 (25%) required.

Through ‘Mi New Home’, which is open to anyone looking to buy a new property up to the value of £250,000, it is enabling buyers to secure a home with only a 5% deposit and also benefit from the availability of a 95% mortgage from participating lenders. This represents a more achievable deposit of just over £5,500 – a huge difference of more than £22,000.
