Twixtmas in the New Forest

Cottage Lodge, a 5-star, eco boutique B&B in Brockenhurst in the New Forest, has created a special ‘Twixtmas’ break on the weekend between Christmas and New Year (28 – 31 December).

It is the first time in 6 years that the dates have made this a possibility, and the weekend is perfect for re-charging the batteries after Christmas and before the New Year celebrations commence.

There are plenty of pubs and restaurants with a few minutes’ walk and Cottage Lodge also provides guests with its home-made walking guides which include recommended pub stops for lunch.

Cottage Lodge is no ordinary B&B; it has 15 rooms, each of which has been individually designed and furnished to the highest of standards.

The property has an ‘eco’ theme throughout, with furnishings, decorating, flooring and power supply all chosen for their environmentally-friendly properties (one room even has a bike which can be used to power the television).

The three-night break costs from £149 pp (2 sharing) including the famous Cottage Lodge breakfast made with New Forest ingredients, and a glass of bucks fizz on one morning.
