25th September 2012 Print

Food lovers will be flocking to South Devon next month for the tenth Dartmouth Food Festival and Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is the ideal place to stay for the four-day event - with accommodation packages available from just £65 per person per night.

The feast of culinary entertainment is being held from October 25-28 and will this year feature a 'Best of British' theme to coincide with the staging of the Olympics and Paralympics and The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

With ten core events to mark each year the festival has been running and a daily menu that is set to feature food, drink, culinary skills or free-for-all bake-offs, there promises to be something for everyone to indulge in - including the famous cream teas that the area is so renowned for.

And Dartmouth Golf and Country Club is offering those attending the gastronomic extravaganza bed-and-breakfast accommodation in its well-appointed hotel, for just £65 per person per night.

Prices include free use of the Lakeside Health and Leisure Club's extensive facilities including an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and spa. All prices are based on two people sharing a twin or double room and are subject to availability.

Situated in 225 acres of south Devon countryside, just outside the beautiful town of Dartmouth, the resort boasts 27 holes of golf with the 18-hole Championship Course and nine-hole Dartmouth Course complementing each other nicely.

Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is located just four miles from the historic town from which it takes its name and is the ideal base from which to explore the delights of south Devon, with Dartmoor, the River Dart, fantastic beaches and a host of picturesque towns and villages nearby.
