Leading developer Bloor Homes is hosting a part exchange event over the weekend of 20th and 21st October at its developments in Long Lawford, Warwickshire and Hinckley, Leicestershire.

According to research from reallymoving.com the average cost of moving house in the UK is £8,264, with the greatest expense being estate agent fees which can set you back as much as £4,104 on the sale price of a UK property valued at £228,000.

Bloor is offering a money saving opportunity to swap your old home at 105% of its market value, for a brand new home, with the added advantage that the entire purchase process can be completed within a matter of weeks.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director of Bloor Homes comments: “By part exchanging their current property, purchasers not only save money but also avoid the hassle of becoming stuck in a selling chain, which means they can focus on moving into their brand new Bloor home.”

“If you express an interest in purchasing a new home through our part exchange offer, one of our sales consultants will discuss the scheme with you and ensure your existing property matches our standard criteria. We will then commission three independent market valuations of your property by local estate agents. Based on the valuations and subject to the survey, if you are happy with the offer we make, the purchase process can be simply completed from there as though you were a cash buyer.”

“We will purchase the property from you and take on full responsibility for selling it on. Once contracts are signed you will be free to move into your new home as soon as it is completed.”

The Briars in Long Lawford close to the town of Rugby, is an exclusive development of two, three, four and five bedroom homes built in a variety of styles and designs. Visitors on the part exchange weekend will be able to view the stunning show home.

Currently available are a range of three and four bedroom homes in different designs. Three bedroom homes start at £164,950, rising to £227,950 for a four bedroom property.

Hinckley Park is a collection of spacious family homes in the Leicestershire town of Hinckley. Hinckley's town centre hosts a bustling market and busy high street, with the rail and road links providing key transportation to the Midlands rail network.

Prices start at £139,950 for the two bedroom Marford, rising to £164,950 for the three bedroom Bampton and £244,950 for the four bedroom Somerby. Further sales information can be found at bloorhomes.com.
