Zurich launches new Pension Planning Tool

Zurich in the UK has launched a new on-line calculator which allows people to calculate how much they are likely to receive as retirement income.

The new tool enables people to input key financial information such as age of retirement, current salary and percentage of salary to be saved and then works out how much they could potentially receive as income from their personal pension.  

Simon Foster, Head of Zurich Corporate Savings says "With the ever increasing pensions gap, it is important that people take responsibility for their financial futures.  For some people using this tool it will inevitably lead to the stark realisation that they need to take action and save more in their pension. We hope that by using Zurich's new pension calculator it will encourage people to start saving enough money, either individually or through their employer, to allow them to live comfortably in their retirement."

The launch of Zurich's new pension planner follows the launch of Zurich's Smartphone App, available for I-phones and Android phones.  The smartphone app allows people to track their own spending habits and help them manage their budgets appropriately. The app can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play.
