The newly opened Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, situated in picturesque Luss, is set to celebrate its first Christmas with a seasonal offering that ensures all can join in the festivities.

Surrounded by the stunning scenery of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and serving up the best locally sourced food within the hotel’s traditional styled bar and restaurant, complete with roaring fire, what better way to enjoy the party season and to also welcome in the New Year!

From hearty festive two course menus starting from only £12 per person (pp) to lively Party Nights that include a three course menu and an evening’s entertainment from £23 pp, this is the perfect atmosphere and location to escape the hustle and bustle of the pre-Christmas throng.

On Christmas Day itself, guests can benefit from a welcome reception and a delicious four course menu at £55 pp, expertly prepared by head chef Peter Wilson. There will also be a special appearance for younger visitors by a certain gentleman in a red suit.

On Hogmanay, drinks and canapés will be served on arrival, ensuring a relaxing start to the evening, followed by a sumptuous four course menu at £45pp. For only £15 per ticket, the Hotel's first New Year will get underway within the beautiful Inchconnachan function suite as the clock strikes midnight, with a piper bringing in the bells and traditional stovies served.

For those wanting to extend their stay, why not book one of the hotel’s 14 individually styled en-suite bedrooms and wake up in the morning to indulge in a full Scottish breakfast? Room rates, including breakfast, start from £80 single occupancy and £120 based on two sharing - however, please check the website for seasonal offers.

To aid recovery the morning after the night before – there is 720 square miles of an unspoilt national park waiting to be explored, as well as a wealth of pursuits from fishing and golfing to wildlife watching.

Glasgow is just 30 minutes drive from the village of Luss and Glasgow International Airport even closer. There are several whisky distilleries and a local brewery within easy reach of the hotel. And for those wanting to make an early start on the Boxing Day sales, nearby Lomond Shores provides one of Scotland’s most spectacular shopping and leisure destinations.
